Ezion bags $88m jack-up rig contract
Singapore's Ezion Holdings has entered into a contract to provide a jack-up rig to support a South Asian based national oil company.

The contract is valued at approximately up to $87.6m over a three-year period.

The jack-up rig will be deployed in the Arabian Sea in South Asia and it is expected to commence work by early 2015 after its refurbishment and upgrading.

Last month, Ezion bagged a contract worth about $94m to provide a service rig for deployment in Southeast Asian waters under a five-year term.

The Singapore-listed offshore services firm owns a fleet of vessels comprising of tugs, ballastable barges, offshore support vessels and self-propelled barges.
