Shanghai: Jiulong Huang, currently Chief Executive of Galbraith's Shanghai branch has been appointed to the international shipbroker and consultant's Board of Directors. Huang will continue to head Galbraith's team in China.
'We are very pleased to welcome Jiulong onto the board, where his experience will be invaluable,' says Charles Fowle, Chairman of Galbraith's. 'Our office in Shanghai, which was established in 2003, continues to help produce rapid growth in our dry cargo and S&P newbuilding and secondhand operations in what is a very important market for us.'
Galbraith's is a member of the Baltic Exchange, and holds directorships of the London Worldscale Association and the London Tanker Brokers Panel. It is also a company member of BIMCO, and the Ship Valuation Panel. [27/05/10]
