GNS to release latest version of voyage planner at Marintec
New kid on the block in digital navigation, Global Navigation Solutions (GNS), will be launching the latest version of its Voyager Planning Station at Marintec China 2013.

Voyager Planning Station is a GIS-based voyage planning tool with a chart correction service, AVCS and ADP updates with a full paper/digital chart and publication catalogue.

“Voyager is designed to prevent information overload and provide both onboard and shore-based personnel with an optimum way to manage their data and stay compliant. The ability of Voyager to display AVCS, ADP and AIO updates enables users to manage all their navigation needs through a single common intuitive interface,” Mike Bailey, voyager product manager for GNS, explained.

GNS will also be taking the opportunity to explain to visitors its vision of the future of digital navigation. “GNS brings an enhanced level of knowledge, better understanding and greater expertise in digital navigation than has been previously available from a single source,” said Mike Robinson, chief executive of GNS.

“This enables us to deliver products and services that are more reliable, user-friendly, accurate and cost-effective than other options available in the market today.”

GNS will be exhibiting at stand D43 in Hall N1 of Marintec China 2013.
