Hajara takes over from Khatau as INSA president

Mumbai: Sabyasachi Hajara, chairman and md of the Shipping Corporation of India has been elected as the new President of Indian National Shipowners' Association (INSA) at the 27th Annual General Meeting of the Association held in Mumbai on 28th September 2007.  Hajara (pictured right), who was previously INSA vp takes over from Yudhisthir Khatau (pictured left), who will retain a position as a director on the board. Khatau had served as president for the past two years.

Other changes to the board include the appointment of Atul Agarwal, joint md at Mercator Lines as INSA vp and the induction of two new directors - Captain SS Tripathi, CMD of Dredging Corporation of India and Arun Sharma, exec president and ceo of India Steamship
