Shanghai: Hamburg Süd has added six new proprietary offices at key transport hubs in China to supplement its Shanghai-based subsidiary, Hamburg Süd (China), following approval from the P. R. China's Ministry of Communications in June.
The German container line has opened offices in Guangzhou, Ningbo, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Xiamen in addition to launching two new weekly fixed day services from China to India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. An extra 100 staff are being employed by the German liner company. [15/07/08]
