Hanjin Shipping to expand network

Hanjin Shipping to expand network
Seoul: Hanjin Shipping announced on Thursday that it is expanding its service network in the East Mediterranean Sea area by participating in the existing ABX (Asia-Black Sea Express) and TLS (Turkey-Levant Service) services.

Hanjin Shipping will participate in the ABX service from middle of May and the TLS service from 25 April.

ABX is currently operated by China Shipping, K Line, PIL, Wan Hai and Yang Ming, covering North China, South West Asia and the Black Sea area with eight of 4,000-4,250 teu ships offering a 26-day transit from Shanghai to Constanza.

As for TLS, Hanjin Shipping will deploy a third vessel into the service, currently operated by Arkas Line and Turkon Line, each partner putting one of 2,000-3,000 teu ship.

Meanwhile, in prior to these lanes, Hanjin Shipping launched ADN (Adriatic) service in early April to build its presence in the area.
