Hanoi: Dutch maritime suppliers Holland Marine Equipment (HME) has announced that it will open a representative office in Hanoi on August 29. The 'Holland Marine House Vietnam' aims to enable Dutch maritime suppliers to develop relationships with shipbuilding companies and relevant government authorities in what HME terms as "one of the world's most dynamic upcoming markets in shipbuilding". It will also support the companies in collecting and analysing market information relating to the shipbuilding industry.
The office currently hosts seven Dutch maritime suppliers, but HME expects this number to significantly increase after the start up. The Holland Marine House Vietnam will be led by a representative manager Nguyen Quoc Hai. The new office is the second HME representative office - The Holland Marine House China was set up in Shanghai three years ago. [05/07/07]
