Hong Kong: Hong Kong's container throughput in November plummeted by 13.2% year-on-year to 1.805 million teu, announced the Hong Kong Port Development Council. The global financial crisis has seriously impacted the manufacturing industry in the Pearl River Delta Region with Hong Kong, which mainly focuses on transshipment trade, suffering from the decrease in the number of cargo sources.
