Malaysian offshore services provider SILK Holdings announced its unit Jasa Merin has received a MYR11.68m ($3.6m) contract extension by ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc. for the provision of one Straight Supply Vessel.
The one-year contract originally commenced on August 2012, and has been extended for another year commencing 3 August 2013.
The contract is expected to contribute positively to SILK Group's earnings and assets for the financial year ending 31 July 2014.
