Tokyo: Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha will next month launch a weekly container service linking Asia with the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea, in cooperation with Pacific International Lines (PIL). The Japanese line says the service is designed to meet the growing demand for Asian traffic, especially ex China, to the Middle East. Port rotation will be Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Hong Kong, Singapore, Colombo, Aden, Jeddah, Aqaba, Sokhna, Aden, Singapore, Shanghai. Separately "K" Line has recently appointed new liner agents National Shipping Services in Jordan and Sharaf Shipping Agencies in Yemen. [25/07/06]
