Hong Kong: AP Moller Maersk subsidiary Maersk Line is to introduce a new Europe to Far East service named AE11 from the end of this month. The service will operate using seven 4,000teu vessels and follow the port rotation:
Xingang (China) - Dalian (China) - Qingdao (China) - Shanghai (China) - Hongkong (China) - Malaga (Spain) - Algeciras (Spain) - Xiamen (China) - and Xingang (China).
In a statement, the company said, "The AE11 will enable us to meet our customers' increasing demand for more capacity. Thereby we can continue to offer our customers new opportunities and support them in benefiting from globalisation."
The first service will depart from Xingang on 28 May. [10/05/07]
