Maersk to pay up to $100m less overall for megaships
As it launches the first of its Triple-E class mega-containerships, AP Moller-Maersk will pay about $100m less than expected for its overall order of 20 ships from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), reports said.

Maersk said it now expects to pay about $185m on average per vessel, against previous expectations of about $190m.

Maersk's first vessel is expected to be operational on Asia to Europe routes on 28 June, with an additional four vessels to be delivered this year, while the remaining 15 will be delivered in 2014 and 2015.
