The Singapore-headquartered shipowner said that Rickmers would be its new primary 3rd party shipmanager with 16 open hatch gantry crane bulk carriers to be transferred between May and August this year.
Ignace Van Meenen, ceo of Rickmers Group said Masterbulk would benefit from the economies of scale of Rickmers fleet of 130 vessels.
“Being part of the Rickmers managed fleet brings us considerable operational advantages and savings,” said Nick Fisher ceo of Masterbulk.
