Jingjiang: German KG fund Hellespont Hammonia has completed the naming of the 73,400dwt panamax product tamker Hellespont Pride, the first of six sister vessels building at New Century Shipbuilding Co in Jingjiang, China. The series was originally ordered by Seatramp Tankers in 2004 and is being financed by Hamburg KG house HCI (Hanseatische Capital Invest). The vessel will be chartered to Sanko Steamship, managed by Hellespont Hammonia, classed ABS and flagged under the Marshall Islands. [31/07/06]
