Singapore: The New World Alliance (TNWA), a coalition of APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), has announced a decrease of 4,000teu for its member lines in order to cope with reduced demand after the annual Christmas shipping boom. The diminution, effective from this month, will run through to April 2007 and enable members to conduct routine maintenance and repairs to their vessels. [15/11/06]
