NYK widens QMS accreditation

Tokyo: NYK has acquired ISO9001:2000 Quality Management Systems accreditation from Japan's ClassNK for all its safety and environmental activities, including operation of chartered ships; land-based business organisations; and the company's crisis management system. Previously the company had obtained ISO certification for vessel operations involving ships directly managed by the company.  [07/09/06]
