Karachi: OOCL has opened a new office in Pakistan's capital city Karachi, following termination of its dealings with its local agent, Yaaseen Shipping Lines. "The OOCL Pakistan office is part of our extensive enhancement of the whole region," said SC Chan, OOCL md for the Straits and South West Asia Region, adding, "The new office will also enhance our strength in linking the Subcontinent and Middle Eastern countries to the rest of the world."
"We appreciate the long standing relationship with Yaaseen Shipping Lines who has assisted in building up OOCL's profile in Pakistan market for the past 24 years," Chan concluded.
T.H.Tan will serve as the md for the new subsidiary, OOCL Pakistan (Private) Limited (OPPL). [24/07/07]
