Mumbai: India's ABG Shipyard Ltd said it has won a US$360m shipbuilding order from Thailand-based Precious Shipping Public Co Ltd, taking ABG's total order book to 55.6 bn rupees. In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange, ABG said it will build 12 bulk vessels of about 32,000 dead weight tones.
ABG Shipyard md Rishi Agarwal, said, "This is a proud moment for us to announce the biggest order that ABG Shipyard has received. All the vessels manufactured by ABG Shipyard have performed very well, thus establishing its reputation for building and delivering vessels of the best quality at competitive prices and delivery periods.''
