STX OSV secures PSVs building contract

STX OSV secures PSVs building contract
Singapore: STX OSV secured new contracts worth some NOK700m ($117.5m) to design and build two platform supply vessels (PSVs) for Farstad Shipping.

The first vessel is scheduled for delivery in the second-quarter of 2014 from STX OSV Langsten in Norway. The second vessel will be delivered in the third-quarter of 2014 from STX OSV Vung Tau in Vietnam.

STX OSV already has six PSVs and four anchor handler tug supply (AHTS) vessels under construction for Farstad Shipping.
