HMM makes urgent medical shipments to India

Container line HMM has shipped 23 teu of urgent medical goods to India since 12 May.

HMM started delivering urgent medical goods related to fighting the Covid-19 crisis in India from 12 May at a nominal cost of $1 per teu.

The 23 teu of shipments mainly include medical grade oxygen, oxygen tanks, oxygen bottles, oxygen concentrators, steel pipes to manufacture oxygen cylinders, and associated equipment. HMM also gives the shipments priority for space and equipment.

An HMM official said, “HMM will continue to make its utmost efforts to ensure fast transportation of medical supplies to India until the difficult situation in the country is over.”
