Jany replaces Carolina Dybeck Happe who quit the Danish shipping firm in November last 2019 after less than a year in the role of cfo and board member. The announcement she was leaving Maersk came weeks after coo Soren Toft also quit the company to join rival MSC.
Jany will take the post at Maersk from the beginning of May.

Maersk’s executive board will now comprise Skou, Jany, , Vincent Clerc, ceo of ocean and logistics, Morten Engelstoft, ceo of APM Terminals, and Henriette Hallberg Thygesen, ceo of fleet & strategic brands.
