Maersk Greater China Customer Experience unit and Global Shared Service Centre (China) customer service team will be responsible for the integrated shipping supply chain management for Greater China region and handling internal import and export documents, e-booking, online customer service and financial related services, respectively.
“We are expecting to develop Maersk’s integrated shipping supply chain management and global shared service center at Chongqing, and better participate in west China development. The Chongqing office will provide strong support for the company to cope with challenges,” said Lu Jiukang, head of Customer Experience at Maersk Greater China.
“The geographical advantage, business growth potential and the reserve of talents of Chongqing are in line with Maersk’s development strategy and will bring more opportunities to our business development,” said Lin Ping, head of Maersk Global Shared Service Centre (China).
Currently, Maersk Chongqing organisation has over 160 staff and will expand to over 800 staff in the future providing end-to-end logistics services to clients.
