The 2019-built, Liberian-registered, MSC Faith was reported to have grounded in Indonesia waters in the Singapore Strait on 31 January by consultant W K Webster.
Based on information from Marine Traffic the containership grounded close to Batu Berhanti Beacon where shallow waters have seen a number of groundings over the year.
According to reports tugs attended the stricken vessel and Marine Traffic showed the vessel moving to anchorage at Batu Ampur, Indonesia on 1 February.
Indonesian media DetikSamut reported the local authorities as saying vessel had a crew of 24 and there no injuries from the incident or reports of polluttion.
The MSC Faith had departed from Pasir Panjang Terminal in Singapore and was eastbound to Yantian, China at the time of the grounding.
The vessel is managed by MSC Management in Cyprus according to Equasis.
