Exmar LPG sells two older tankers

Exmar LPG sells two older tankers
Exmar LPG has sold two older vessels as it undertakes fleet renewal.

The joint venture between Exmar and Teekay LNG Partners has sold the 1993-built, 85,826 cu m LPG carrier Flanders Harmony and the mid-size 1994-built 35,754 cu m LPG tanker Temse.

The Temse will be delivered to its new owners at the end of the first quarter and the Flandera Harmony in the second quarter. The buyers of the vessels were not disclosed. The sale will generate net cash proceeds of $30m for Exmar LPG.

“The gradual sale of older tonnage coincides with the forthcoming deliveries of Exmar’s more efficient mid-size newbuildings,” Exmar said.
