Gas Natural takes $6.9m charter extension on Höegh LNG vessel

Gas Natural takes $6.9m charter extension on Höegh LNG vessel
Gas Natural has taken a 12-month extension option on an LNG carrier owned by Höegh LNG.

The charter on the 126,000 cu m LNG Libra to Gas Natural was due to expire at the end of 2014 and the company has taken the ship for another 12 months for $6.9m.

“The extension underlines our excellent operating performance and Höegh LNG's ability to secure employment for LNG carriers even at times of challenging market conditions," said Sveinung JS Støhle, president and ceo of Höegh LNG.
