The new office in Dubai will be staffed by Tim Mulders holding the position of business developer.
“This newly-manned UAE office will give clients the chance to meet face-to-face with Tim on short notice and at their convenience,” said Jayne Moran, sales and business development manager for the Middle East & Caspian regions.
“Tim has been with the company for the past five years and is an experienced project manager with a good understanding of what clients require. Moving him into a business development role in the UAE will enable Ampelmann to be closer to its clients and provide the regional support that they need.”
The office in the UAE adds to existing presence in the Middle East region that Ampelmann has in Doha, Qatar.
Ampelmann noted that Dubai is perfectly located as a hub for travel to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Saudi Arabia.
Under sanctions imposed in 2017 by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, and the UAE on Qatar there are no direct transport links between the four countries and Qatar.
