The three 2010-built vessels are being added to the company’s fleet “in close collaboration” with an undisclosed financial partner.
The vessels are a 32,755 dwt bulker, to be renamed Clipper Appollonia, 32,691 dwt bulker to be renamed Clipper Aegina, and a 32,535 dwt bulker, to be renamed Clipper Alexandria.
The price of the vessels was not disclosed.
The company said it would take delivery of the vessels in the coming months giving it a fleet of 85 handysize and supramax dry bulk vessels.
