The new joint venture - Suezmax Chartering - started operations on Thursday and has pool of 43 suezmaxes, including newbuildings, operating on the spot market.
Frontline will be contributing 22 vessels to the pool, 15 currently on the water and eight newbuildings.
The pool will operate from the three company’s existing offices.
