China Offshore inks cooperation deals with DNV, BV and Fujian Shipbuilding

China Offshore Engineering & Technology has signed a batch of strategic cooperation agreements with DNV, Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation and Bureau Veritas (BV).

The establishment of strategic cooperation relationship with DNV will further promote the two parties collaboration on deepwater oil and gas development, new energy exploration and utilisation, as well as QHSE sectors, to jointly accelerate innovated development of offshore engineering industry, according to China Offshore Engineering & Technology. 

Speaking about the cooperation with Fujian Shipbuilding, China Offshore Engineering & Technology and the Fujian-based shipbuilding company said they are planning to jointly develop key equipment for offshore engineering and vessel type, enhancing marketing in both domestic and overseas market.

Collaboration with BV will enable the company to deepen bilateral communications in technology innovation and continually propel green and low-carbon development of offshore engineering industry, commented China Offshore Engineering & Technology.

Set up in 2021, China Offshore Engineering & Technology is mainly invested and established by eight state-owned enterprises including CSSC, China National Petroleum Corporation, Sinopec, CNOOC, COSCO Shipping, China Merchants, China Communication Construction and CRRC, aims to develop a world-leading offshore technology and engineering company.
