The new container berth at Jintang port area, is 340 metres long and 59 metres wide, started construction in 2019.
Along with the number one and number two berth at Jintang, the three berths will effectively improve terminal handling capacity and reduce terminal receiving time for domestic vessels, which is expected to be available for international vessel’s berthing in the future.
As the world’s third busiest container handling port, Ningbo-Zhoushan continues to improve its port infrastructure and enlarging its handling capacity to meet the growing vessel berthing demands.
