Xu was the Director, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of China Merchants Port Group. He also served as a director of Liaoning Port Company.
Meanwhile, Lu Yongxin has been appointed as the new chief operating officer and general manager, who served as deputy general manager of the company and a director of various subsidiaries of the company.
The new appointments take effect from July.
