King Abdullah Port new bunkering partnerships

King Abdullah Port has is partnering with two international bunker suppliers to provide refuelling services at the Saudi port.

The port has announced partnerships with Western Fuel Supply for Petroleum Products Company Limited and Minerva Bunkering to provide bunkering services to vessels calling its terminals.

"The provision of bunker supplies at King Abdullah Port is not just an added service; it's a significant stride in our continuous effort to enhance customers’ value,” said Jay New, CEO  of King Abdullah Port. “This move aligns seamlessly with our unwavering commitment to expand our maritime services spectrum and reinforces our dedication to serving our customers better each day.”

King Abdullah Port was recently ranked as the most efficient container port globally in 2022 report by The World Bank and will have a container capacity of 25 million teu, 25 million tonnes of bulk cargo, and 1.5 million vehicles when fully completed.
