Wireless BNWAS units supplied surpasses the 2000 milestone

Wireless BNWAS units supplied surpasses the 2000 milestone

Net-Logic's wireless BNWAS remains the only fully type approved wireless BNWAS in the world. Net-Logic has passed a significant milestone in the global supply; 2000 wireless units are now operating on ships and yachts alike. The system was two years in design and then went on to go through the most stringent of testing to ensure full compliance for the marine field.

The wireless BNWAS uses a cleverly developed mesh network that constantly monitors each and every signal path, if any one of these paths fail then the system will re-route ensuring the system remains active in the event of a module failure.

Dave Norton, General Manager states:

“When we launched this product two years ago many people questioned its ability to work wirelessly through the structure of a large Yacht, let alone a Ship. The actual results of the installations have been impressive, we have the system fitted throughout the world on Passenger ships, bulk carriers, LNG’s, MegaYachts, you name it we have fitted it and its proven beyond doubt that this technology is the future for this type of application.”

Many of the team of design engineers have backgrounds within the SuperYacht sector so the design is not only technically impressive but also aesthetically pleasing.

Most yachts, private or otherwise, now have to comply with the legislation and have BNWAS installed; the trigger date being July 2013.

Due to its unique design the system is able to be, and has been, fitted in a single day with no disruption to the interior or cabling infrastructure.
