Winner of the Seatrade Global birthday challenge

Meet the winner of the Seatrade Global Birthday Challenge:

Congratulations to Nils Sauerborn from Bremen who is the lucky winner of our 1st Anniversary Challenge! Nils won a US$250 Amazon Voucher by registering to receive regular maritime shipping headlines and posting his origami boat on our Facebook page. A BIG thank you to everyone that entered – your boats were amazing!

As the theme for a first anniversary is 'paper' we decided to launch our own paper fleet - we had a number of brilliant boats entered but Nil's bright yellow origami boat with its nautical coordinates was the lucky one randomly selected from the top 5 entries with the most likes that were posted on our facebook page. On being informed that his boat was the winning entry Nils commented that "I feel great, I looked on your Facebook page and saw all the competitors and realising that my boat made the race was like winning a regatta!. Seatrade Global is doing a great job in providing maritime news, publishing a great overview which is always up-to-date. I really like that I can stay in touch with news and keep my knowledge fresh!".
