ABS announced on Wednesday that its registered fleet had gone past the 200m gt mark with roughly 12,000 vessels from 105 flag states.

"Over the past decade, we have made strategic investments in research and technology, workforce development and training programs in order to meet the evolving needs of our client's worldwide."
ABS has doubled the size of its fleet since 2000 and 21% of the newbuilding orderbook will be classed by ABS.
It becomes the second classification society to breach the 200m gt mark following Japan’s ClassNK.
