Together with the Asia Caribbean Express (ACE) service that directly connects Asia to the Caribbean, APL’s expanded Asia-Latin America service network promises a more extensive service coverage and best-in-class transit times across the major economies in Asia and Latin America, APL said in a press release.
The Condor Express (CDX) service is a weekly direct service that will link China, Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, Central America and WCSA, with service commencing from Kaohsiung on April 4.
The CDX service’s eastbound route boasts the industry’s fastest transit time from Busan to Mexico in 15 days, Shanghai to Mexico in 20 days and Central China to San Antonio in 33 days.
Meanwhile the westbound route also offers competitive transit times that are designed to facilitate shipments of fresh fruit and perishable commodities from Mexico and WCSA, to Japan and China, with a 15-day transit for cargoes from Mexico to Yokohama.Â
The CDX service will have the following port rotation: Kaohsiung – Hong Kong – Shekou – Ningbo – Shanghai – Busan – Manzanillo, MX – Lazaro Cardenas – Buenaventura – San Antonio – Callao – Lazaro Cardenas – Manzanillo, MX – Yokohama – Busan - Kaohsiung
The Falcon Express (FCX) service is a weekly direct service that links the North China market via Qingdao, as well as Korea, to Mexico and WCSA, with an unparalleled transit time from Korea and China to Ensenada in 12 and 17 days respectively. Meanwhile cargoes from North China to Peru and Chile will arrive in 28 and 33 days respectively.
The FCX service will commence sailing from Xiamen on April 7 with the following port rotation: Xiamen – Yantian – Shanghai – Qingdao – Busan – Ensenada – Manzanillo, MX – Callao – San Antonio – Lirquen – Manzanillo, MX – Shanghai – Xiamen
Finally, the Caracara Express (CRX) service is a weekly direct service that will serve mainly the Central and South China market, linking it to Mexico and WCSA. The service claims the fastest transit time from Central China to Mexico in 16 days, and 29 days for westbound cargoes to China from Chile.
The CRX service will commence sailing from Hong Kong on 17 April with the following port rotation: Hong Kong – Yantian – Kaohsiung – Ningbo – Shanghai – Manzanillo, MX – Buenaventura – Callao – San Antonio – Hong Kong
