The joint venture between EXMAR and Teekay LNG Partners exercised an option for a pair of 38,000 cu m LPG carriers to be built at HHIC’s yard in Subic Bay, the Philippines. The vessels are due to be delivered in 2017.
The joint venture has eight similar vessels on order, four at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and four at HHIC, with deliveries starting in 2014.
