MOL, Ultranav, OSG and Asahi Tanker form product tanker pool

MOL, Ultranav, OSG and Asahi Tanker form product tanker pool
Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL), Ultranav International, OSG International, Asahi Tanker have agreed to form a new product tanker pool.

The Clean Products Tanker Alliance will operate a combined fleet of around 60 MR product tankers.

Ultranav will run the pool’s vessels trading in the America’s from its Miami office, while MOL will operate vessels worldwide from London, Singapore and Tokyo.

“The joint pool agreement will enable more efficient arrangement of vessels, allowing the flexibility to meet diverse customer needs with reliable, high-quality ocean transport service,” MOL said.
