ExxonMobil inks time charters for MISC LNG carrier pair

The two 174,000 cu m LNG carriers will be chartered to ExxonMobil subsidiary SeaRiver Maritime for transporting LNG worldwide for a period of 15 years.

The Malaysian shipowner has inked newbuilding contracts for the two vessels with Samsung Heavy Industries with delivery expected in Q1 2023. The vessels will feature XDF propulsion and a Mark III Flex Plus containment system.
