Icon Offshore looking at Middle East investment
Malaysian sovereign wealth fund Ekuiti Nasional Bhd (Ekuinas) offshore supply vessel unit Icon Offshore Bhd plans to make one more regional investment before its planned initial public offering (IPO) next year, according to local reports.

Ekuinas Ceo Abdul Rahman Ahmad was quoted as saying the regional investment, which Icon Offshore parent Ekuinas is looking at making in the Middle East, would make it a larger company with an international presence. “We want to list it as a regional company," he said.

Icon Offshore currently has 36 vessels operating in the waters of Malaysia, Vietnam and Qatar.
