Sinopacific inks deal for six PSVs
Shanghai: Sinopacific Shipbuilding won an order to build four 3,700 tonnes platform supply vessels (PSVs) from Slok Shipping Nigeria, including an option for two more larger ones.

The contract was signed on Tuesday but financial details were not disclosed. The four firm orders are based on Sinopacific's SPP35 design while the two options are based on the SPP50 design.

Sinopacific is sitting on an orderbook for 20 SPP50 style PSVs. As at 17 July 2012, the company's Zhejiang yard is constructing five of the PSVs.
