FueLNG will own, operate and commercially manage the 7,500 cu m tanker with K Line providing its ship management expertise, knowledge of LNG shipping and experience in 160 truck-to-ship bunkering operations to date.
“This will provide a reliable, expedient and seamless bunkering process for FueLNG’s customers,” K Line said.
The tanker being built at Keppel Offshore & Marine in Singapore is expected to be operational in the second half of 2020.
It will be the first vessel to provide ship-to-ship LNG bunkering in the world’s largest refuelling port.
