Oza was one of three new senior officers elected by the ICS annual Controlling Council meeting in Athens this week.
Luis Bernat, Chartering Manager with TSL Shipping was elected Chairman, and Krishnan Subramanian, Strategic Advisor to Transworld Group, was elected Vice Chairman.
The ICS said the Controlling Council meeting also saw election of committees, new members and fellows as well as an update on committee reports work plans, financial performance and any branch issues.
