CatFineMaster is designed to ensure maximum reduction of dangerous catalytic fines - very hard abrasive particles that are caused during oil refinining - and as a result optimum composition of fuel oil. Use of the company’s latest generation of intelligent control systems allows the user to activate the centrifuge, automatically regulated to the desired separation level with a single touch of the button.
Separately, GEA will also be showcasing a latest addition to its range of ballast water treatment (BWT) systems, namely BallastMaster marinex, which it is marketing on behalf of partner Trojan Technologies, a world leader in UV disinfection systems for water.
BallastMaster marinex - based on the Trojan Marinex BWT - is purpose-built for the marine industry and provides filtration + UV in a single, compact unit. The product suite has been type approved by the IMO to the lowest UV transmittance rate in the industry (poor water quality), and has received US Coast Guard Alternate Management System (AMS) acceptance for all water qualities: freshwater, brackish water and marine water.
