The offshore vessel is scheduled to be delivered from Vard Vung Tau yard in Vietnam in the third quarter of 2015. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
With this newbuilding, Vard has three vessels under construction for Carlotta Offshore.
The PSV, based on Vard 1 08 design, has a cargo deck area of 830 sq m with a high focus on cargo capacity and high maneuvering capabilities combined with low fuel consumption.
The vessel will also be equipped with standby, rescue, firefighting and oil recovery features.
