Huanghua port adds one large oil berth

With a designed annual handling capacity of 14.2m tons, the new terminal will mainly provide services for crude oil, cutback asphalt and fuel oil transporation.

According to the development plan of Huanghua port, the port will construct four port areas in total, including 104 berths to handle over 10,000 tonnes and 21 berths to handle over 1,000 tonnes.

At the beginning of this year, Huanghua port had already build 42 berths with an annual handling capacity of 272 million tonnes.

Huanghua port is a major energy transportation hub in China, which will be developed to be an integrated port when more deep-water berths complete construction. The port has been under intensive development in recent years by Qinhuangdao Port Company, as it seeks to exand its reach beyond the Hebei and Bohai Rim region.
