The port operator and the shipping line have agreed to establish long-term partnership in relation to jointly promote container and ro-ro shipping business, as well as an integrated development between port and shipping.
To further expand trading channels between hinterland in northeast China and other locations worldwide, especially for Southeast Asia and Australia, ZIM is enhancing cooperation with Liaoning Port Group, commented ZIM.
Playing a crucial role in port operations in north China, Liaoning Port Group plans to further promote Dalian Northeast Asia international shipping hub construction and global logistics center development via the collaboration with ZIM.
The two parties jointly opened up a new service between Dalian-Australia earlier this year, expanding service network for Dalian port.
