Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has ordered an additional two 7,000 ceu LNG-powered pure car and truck carriers from China Merchants Jinling Shipyard.

The LNG dual-fuel PCTCs have a length of 199.9 meters and a width of 38 meters, with a designed speed of 19.5 knots and 12 cargo decks in total, equipped with two 2,000 cu metre LNG storage tanks meeting the latest requirements of Tier III.

With the addition of the new contract, EPS now has 12 LNG-powered car carriers on order at Jinling Shipyard.

Jinling Shipyard has already delivered three PCTCs to EPS in October, October 2023 and January 2024, respectively.
