Yangzijiang Shipping has entered into a shipbuilding contract with Yangzijiang-Mitsui Shipbuilding for the construction of four bulk carriers.

The 82,300 dwt bulk carrier is a major ship type constructed by Yangzijiang-Mitsui Shipbuilding. Earlier this month, the shipyard delivered a 82,300 dwt bulk carrier Pomone to a Japanese owner.

The four vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2023, and will be classified by Lloyd’s Register.

Jiangsu Yangzijiang-Mitsui Shipbuilding, in partnership with Yangzijiang Shipbuilding and Mitsui, currently has a shipbuilding capacity of over ten 100,000 tonnes-class vessels annually.
