According to the agreement, the three parties will promote deeper integration of port industry and digital technology and develop an open platform for intelligent port.

The cooperation will establish an alliance for trade logistics and the financial sector.

Integrating the port industry resources of China Merchants Port, the network platform resources of Alibaba and financial services of Ant will help to reduce information obstacle in trade and port logistics industry chain.

Earlier this year, China’s National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued notice for the development of infrastructure project of 5G network.
